Exhibits: Records related to the Attica Uprising from the Governor audiovisual records
This exhibit contains material related to the Attica Correctional Facility Uprising (1971), drawn from a series of New York State Governor audiovisual records, 1951-1986. Records include Governor Hugh Carey's tour of Attica Correctional Facility in 1980, and related press conferences and interviews given by Governor Carey.
