Diagram of a trap for catching turtles, first published in Ponds, Pond Fish and Pond Fish Culture by Lewis L. Dyche (1857-1915, Kansas zoologist, taxidermist, and game warden) and reprinted in Fish and Game Warden Bulletin No. 1 Part III. At top is an illustration depicting turtles being caught in the trap. Below are plans for the construction of the trap. This image was created to record the game hatchery activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
