This image of the snowy wilderness was taken near Woodhull Mountain, near the town of Webb in the Adirondacks. At the time this image was taken, this area was owned and logged by the Gould Paper Company. This land was purchased from the company by New York State in 1963. This image was created to record a survey of the Adirondack Park by the New York State Conservation Department.
