This is a single rail railway, used by the foresters Thuringer Forest to carry pallets of lumber and other heavy materials taken from the forest. Representatives from the Conservation Department visited this forest in near Eisenach, Germany, to study agricultural and forestry techniques. This image was created to record the forestry research performed by the New York State Conservation Department.
