This water tower provides water for the fields at the I. Heins Sohne nursery in Halstenbek, Germany. The sign atop the tower reads "1898 – I. Heins Sohne." Representatives from the Conservation Department visited this nursery to study agricultural and forestry techniques. This image was created to record the agricultural research performed by the New York State Conservation Department.
