Houses and trees on the shore of lake

Houses and trees on the shore of lake
A view of lake, possibly Lake Placid. In the extreme foreground is the corner of a fence. Beyond the fence is a row of leafless deciduous trees and one evergreen. On the far righthand side of the photograph, wooden houses can be seen alongside the curving shore of the lake. Two terraces jut out into the picture frame from a structure that is not visible. The lake is the middle ground. Trees can be seen in the background, on the opposite shore. Mountains are visible in the far distance. This image was created to record forestry and parks activities of the New York State Forest, Fish and Game Commission, Conservation Commission, or Conservation Department.
