Exhibit on the bobsled run at Lake Placid on display at the 1936 State Fair in Syracuse, N.Y. The exhibit includes the actual sled used in Germany by the American team during the 1936 Winter Olympics. The Conservation Department had an extensive public education program which included not only exhibits, but also demonstrations, forestry tours and motion pictures. This image was created to record the public education efforts of the Conservation Department.
