This stand of White Pine (Pinus strobus) has been carefully pruned and thinned under the management of the Civilian Conservation Corps. This particular stand is under the care of CCC camp S-135, stationed in Canton, N.Y. This image was created to record the reforestation work of the Civilian Conservation Corps under the supervision of the New York State Conservation Department.
