This crumbling structure is located on land scheduled to be reforested by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Normally abandoned houses like this would be demolished, but a squatter has taken up residence. J.W. Moore is the figure in the picture, illegally occupying this dwelling. This image was created to record the reforestation work of the Civilian Conservation Corps under the supervision of the New York State Conservation Department.
