This old waterhole, constructed in 1933, doesn't meet the standards of the 1936 Civilian Conservation Corps. The hole will need to be expanded, cleaned, and lined with stone. Once this is done, the waterhole will aid fire suppression in this forest in Schuyler County. This image was created to record the reforestation work of the Civilian Conservation Corps under the supervision of the New York State Conservation Department.
