Senate House Museum, Kingston, N.Y.
This two-story stonework building stands next to the historic Senate House in Kingston, N.Y. This is the museum built in 1927 to house the collection of materials from the Senate House. Originally the house of the merchant Abraham Van Gaasbeek, in 1777 the Senate House became the meeting place for the first New York State Senate. This image was created to record the historic site activities of the New York State Conservation Department.
