Resolution. Empowering the burgomasters of New Amsterdam to collect money, and, if necessary, make an assessment, to defray the expenses of the public works of the city, and also, at a proper time, to impose a tax on lots, houses, and real estate, for like purpose. [Copy of Volume 6:97]
