Sworn oath signed by New York electors who were discharging their duties as part of the Electoral College process. The electors attested that they would fulfill the duties of the office of elector of President and Vice President of the United States to the best of their ability, and that they had not paid nor offered to contribute "any money or other valuable thing" as a reward for giving or withholding a vote. The oath contains the signatures of the electors, their county of residence, their Post Office address (e.g. Syracuse), their age, their profession, and their place of birth (e.g. U.S.A.). The oath was sworn before New York Secretary of State John J. Lyons on January 10, 1921.
