Sentence of Jopje, a sailor; his hair to be clipped; to be then publicly flogged and his ears pierced with a red hot iron, and afterwards to work one year with the negroes.

Note: This document was identified in O'Callaghan's calendar as the sentence of Claes Michielsen, but the New Netherland Institute translation found that it applied to Jopje instead.
