A crowd of people gather for the start of the Forestry Field Day at Pine Grove Farm on August 14, 1924. The Forestry Field Day program was initiated in 1924 to raise awareness of conservation issues among farm bureaus, sportsmen's clubs and similar organizations. The scene includes a number of different models of cars from the 1920's. This image was created to record the reforestation efforts of the New York State Conservation Commission.
