Factory Investigating Commission's Wage Classification data cards for the Manhattan Shirt Company's factory in Albany, New York. The card lists types of occupations, gender and age categories of employees, and rates of pay for employees at the factory. Employees were paid by the piece. For example, employees who turned cuffs earned 1.5¢ per dozen pieces.
