Factory Investigating Commission's Wage Classification data card for Niagara Chocolate Company in Niagara Falls, New York. The card lists types of occupations, gender and age categories of employees, and rates of pay for employees at the factory. Employees were paid by the hour, by the week, or by the piece. Hand dippers were paid 2.5¢ per pound and were expected to dip at least sixty pounds of chocolate per day.
