Chenango Canal Survey, Greene showing King and Haynes
This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Greene. The map is split into two views. The first view shows a small portion of a stream, a basin at the foot of the map, two bridges and an unidentified road. The second view shows a stream that runs through a culvert under the canal, a large pond were the stream empties out, a bridge, four buildings and an unidentified road. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Amos Gray, King, Fitch, R.D. Race, J. Tillotson, Erastus Brown and Eli Haynes.
