This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Oxford. It shows the Chenango River, Lock No. 97 and 98, Feeder No. 3 which runs from the river to the canal, three bridges and an unidentified road that runs along the left side of the canal. Also shown is a smaller map found in the lower left corner of the page. This map shows the Chenango River, a dam and the continuation of Feeder No. 3. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Jabez Blackman, Smith and Houghton, Daniel Tucker and David Judson.
