This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Oxford. The map is split into two views. The first view shows a straight run of the canal and a bridge. The second view shows a stream and culvert, an aqueduct, Balcome Brook and a bridge. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Palmer C. Carey, George A. Carey, John Shattuck, William Thompson and the Heirs of Samuel Cole.
