This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Frankfort. It shows the Mohawk River, Steeles Brook which runs under the canal through a culvert, three bridges, eight buildings, the Road to Frankfort Village and an unidentified road. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Brinckerhoff, Willaim Philips, J. G. Ferguson and S. Ferguson.
