This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Utica and Frankfort. The map is split into two views. The first view shows the Utica and Frankfort Town Line, the Oneida and Herkimer County Line, a bridge, a building, the Road to Frankford Village and an unidentified road. The second view shows a basin, two bridges, five buildings and the Road to Frankford Village. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of John Green, J. R. Bleeker, Mrs. Brinckeroff and George Dikeman.
