Erie Canal Survey, Manlius showing Huntley and Reels
This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Manlius. The map is split into two views. The first view shows Limestone Creek, three bridges, eight buildings and an unidentified road. The second view shows a small rounded basin, a bridge, fifteen buildings and a road that runs right up to the canal. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Isaac Hoffman and Paul Maine.
