This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Salina. It shows a long stream that empties into an oval shaped basin and then the canal, a bridge, five buildings including Teal’s Saw Mill and two unidentified roads that intersect. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Abell, Widow Patrick, Bartholimew Van Alstine, Oliver Teal and Robert Gere.
