It shows the Cayuga Marsh, a large section of the Seneca River, a lock lot owned by John Newell, six buildings and a long bridge that spans the river. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Peter Clark and McMaster.
