This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Perrinton. The map is split into two views. The first view shows Fullum’s Basin, a bridge, six buildings and a road that splits into two. This road has an arrow marker and label that indicates that it’s eight miles to Rochester by road, sixteen by canal. The second view shows a saw mill,a pond and three buildings. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of John Scott, Elisha Case, Mrs. Matthews, Fullum and Howell.
