This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Hamilton and Lebanon. The map is split into two views. The first view shows the Chenango River’s Middle Branch with a channel that runs straight to the canal. The second view shows the Hamilton and Lebanon Town Line, the Chenango River and two lined up bridges that span the river and the canal. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Charles Joslin, John Tracy, Jonathan Ormsby and J. Osgood.
