This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Augusta and Madison. It shows the Augusta and Madison Town Line, the Oneida and Madison County Line, the Oriskany Creek with a branch off that feeds into the canal, Lock No. 64 and 65, a saw mill and an unidentified road. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Amos Hitchcock and Lucius Spencer.
