It shows the Town of Waterloo, the Seneca River, a mill canal, a dry dock, eleven bridges, twenty-three buildings including mills and a distillery, Ewen Street, Clark Street, William Street, Swift Street, Inslee Street, Elisha Street, Main Street and two unidentified roads. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the Lock Lot of E. Williams and Reuben Swift.
