This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Watervliet. It shows the Lower Sprout of the Mohawk River, the junction of the Erie Canal and the Champlain Canal, five bridges, thirty-three buildings and the Road to West Troy. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of R.P. Hart and Company and Abraham G. Lansing.
