This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Waterford. The map is split into two views. The second view shows the Upper Sprout of the Mohawk River, a factory canal, two bridges, nine buildings and the Road to West Troy. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of J. Van Schoonhoven, Richard Davis, Tickner, Widow Vanderworken and A. Vanderworken.
