Champlain Canal Survey, Halfmoon showing Fitzgeralds and Flynn
This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Halfmoon. It shows a small strip of the Hudson River, a small triangle shaped basin, two bridges, nine buildings, the Turnpike to Waterford and two unidentified roads that cross the canal. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of G. and D. Flynn, Anthony Flynn and Thomas and John Fitzgerald.
