The second view shows two streams connecting to the canal at similar points, a waste weir, three bridges, six buildings and an unidentified road. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Elias Palmer, Schuyler, Van Rensselaer and S. Van Rensselaer.
