This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Stillwater. The Map is split into two views. The first view shows a sliver of the Hudson River and the Road to Stillwater Village. The second view shows the Hudson River, a large basin, a stream and waste weir, two bridges and the Road to Stillwater Village. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of John Ford, Apollos Austin and the Heirs of C. Vandenburgh.
