This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Kingsbury. The map is split into two views. The first view shows Little Wood Creek, Baker’s or Dunham’s Basin, a waste weir, a bridge, six buildings and the Road to Argyle. The second view shows two buildings and the Road to Fort Edward and Sandy Hill. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Widow Baker, Charles Baker and Nathaniel Pitcher.
