This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Fort Ann. The Map is split into two views. The first view shows Wood Creek, a bridge, twelve buildings, the Road to the Village of Fort Ann and the Road to Granville. The second view shows Wood Creek, five buildings and the Road to the Village of Fort Ann. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Thomas Horton, Joseph Selden, John Williams and Peter Comstock.
