It shows the Watervliet and Albany Town Line, the Hudson River, an island, Lock No. 53, Patroons Creek, a waste weir, three basins, three bridges, Sixty-nine buildings, the State Arsenal, Ferry Street, Lawrence Street, North Market Street and the end of the Erie Canal. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the property of S. Van Rensselaer.
