This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Clifton Park. The map is split into two views. The first view shows multiple channels of The Mohawk River, Stony Creek which run under the canal through a culvert, a rope ferry, two bridges, thirteen buildings and an unidentified road that crosses the canal. The second view shows a basin and the Mohawk River. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Eldert Vischer, C. Hagerman and E. Van Vranken.
