This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Clifton Park. The map is split into two views. The first view shows The Mohawk River, Mill Creek which flows into the canal, Lock No. 31 and a building. The second view shows a sweeping turn in the canal and the Mohawk River. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Eldert Vischer, J. W. Shepherd and Teunis Cragier.
