This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Clifton Park. The map is split into two views. The first view shows the Mohawk River, a cave location, a waste weir, a short stream that runs from canal to the river, Lock No. 30 and a bridge. The second view shows the canal running parallel to the Mohawk River. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Jacob Fonda and P. Vanderheyden.
