Copy of military papers for veteran Mayne Reid
A copy of the papers certifying the entrance into service of Mayne Reid from the New York State Volunteers during the Mexican War, with the original being dated December 12, 1846. It is indicated that the original papers are signed by New York State Governor Silas Wright, New York State Adjutant-General R.E. Temple and Colonel Ward B. Burnett.
