Receipt for the purchase of land in Pittstown, 1811
Receipt from the New York State Treasurer’s Office to Josiah Masters for the purchase of lot thirteen of the Pittstown Patent. The receipt was also signed by Simeon DeWitt, New York State Surveyor General. These lands were forfeited to the state by attainder of Robert Leake after the American Revolution.
