Letter from Abraham C. Cuyler to Captain John Wood regarding a tract of land that Cuyler referred to as "Lot No. 26". Cuyler was selling the land to Wood, possibly to avoid confiscation, as he wrote that he hoped "the country where you live answers your expectation." Cuyler was a Loyalist who, like Robert W. Leake, would be forced to forfeit his land in New York.
