Saint Paul's Church in Eastchester, New York. The parish that founded St. Paul's was established in 1665, but the current church was not built until 1764. It served as a church for the British Army during the Battle for Pell's Point on October 18, 1776. During the battle, George Washington told parishioners to bury the bell in the bell tower so the British would not melt it and use it for ammunition.
