Civil War muster roll abstract for Clarence D. McKenzie. Though the abstract lists his age as 18 in 1861, McKenzie was actually only 11. He served as a drummer, along with his older brother William, for the 13th New York Regiment. He was accidentally killed during a drill later that year.
