The convention of delegates to consider ratification of the proposed United States Constitution was held at Poughkeepsie, New York in June and July, 1788, pursuant to resolutions of the Assembly and Senate passed January 31 and February 1, 1788. The final pages contain signatures of the convention's president, George Clinton, and other delegates.
