View of a facsimile of the original plans (drawn in 1737) for Fort Saint Frederic, a French settlement built in 1734 that later became a British military fortification, located in Crown Point, Essex County on Lake Champlain. The fort is now part of Crown Point State Historic Site. There is a note at the bottom explaining the history of the site and how the plans were drawn. This image was created to record the historic sites activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
