Map done pursuant to instructions received from Simeon DeWitt, Esq., Surveyor General of said state, to whom these maps and field books are respectfully inscribed this day 12th [ill.] 1823, by Peter Gifford, Deputy Surveyor. Scale of 20 chains to an inch. See also map 262 in Series A0273-78. Original map size 29” x 20”.
