The left side has the title Map of the east part of the "Onondaga Residence Reservation in the county of Onondaga purchased from the Onondaga Indians, 25th February 1817". Surveyed by order of the Surveyor General June 1817 by John Randel, Jr., Deputy Surveyor. Done according to law, Simeon DeWitt, Surveyor General. The right side is Map of Cowasselon Tract in the county of Madison purchased from the second Christian Party of Oneida Indians. Also surveyed by John Randel (May 1817) and signed by Simeon DeWitt. Scale of 20 chains to an inch. Original map size 23” x 34”.
