In the center of this image is the Cornell Medical Center. In the distance you can see the Triborough bridge, and closer to the Medical Center is the Ward's Island Bridge. Ward's Island Bridge is a pedestrian/bicycle bridge only, and was completed in 1951. It is only open during the day from April to October.
